Manage phone spare-parts stock with movement records

A stock balance alone does not explain why a quantity changed. Record the item, storage location and reason for each movement so you can compare physical stock with system records. FixLaju inventory requires a paid plan.

Build a parts catalog

Give each part type a unique SKU. Enter its name, category, compatible models and a location such as shelf A1. Separate batteries or screens for different models to reduce ambiguity when selecting items.

Record unit purchase cost and selling price in RM. Set a minimum quantity for your shop. Stock at or below the minimum is marked low; this threshold does not automatically order from a supplier.

Receive stock and correct counts

To receive five units, enter positive quantity 5 under Receive / adjust stock and give a reason such as new delivery. To remove two damaged units, enter -2 and describe the damage.

Check the physical count before saving a correction. Do not use a general adjustment for parts fitted to a customer’s device: record that usage on the repair ticket so the job reference is retained.

Review usage and balances

Select the used part and quantity on the repair ticket. Saving usage deducts stock and links it to the repair. Check model compatibility before fitting; a catalog label is not technical confirmation.

Review recent movements and filter low or out-of-stock items when planning purchases. If physical counts differ, investigate receipts and usage before recording a correction with a clear reason. Negative stock balances are not allowed.
